after 25+ years of tattooing, i still love it... life is imagination that becomes adventure... finding inspiration in music, books & travel... i love making art & enjoy the collaborative nature of tattooing which i sees as a chance to work with a myriad of different people whom i might have otherwise never met... i am a friend to animals great & small & can often be found talking to birds & lizards...
i currently spend most of my time at my studio: SkinFlower Cosmic Arts (formerly in Phoenicia, NY in the Catksill mountains north of NYC) now in the unique town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico~ located 1/2 way between Albuquerque & El Paso & famous for its natural hotsprings, abundant sunshine, interesting geology & lively art scene... we’ve built a clean, colorful studio with a relaxed atmosphere & a lovely view of Turtleback mountain rising majestically over the Rio Grande...
the studio is located thru the big concrete donut at 909 n. foch street~ a 1/2 block south of the golf course, you will see the gate on the south side of the house, there you will follow an origami-like sidewalk leading to the moon gate, thru which lies the skinflower studio yard, where i am in the process of building a high desert xeriscape botanicum… if you see the gate open, feel free to stop in~!
